Travel
Weddings more than one hour from Havelock, NC will require a $.68/mile roundtrip fee, as well as an overnight accommodation fee of ($150/nt) for as many nights as needed (to be determined by wedding day start time; distance from Havelock, NC; whether rehearsal dinner coverage is requested).
Second Videographer...$800
6 hours of coverage with a second videographer on the wedding day to assist capture crucial getting ready, ceremony and reception formalities.
The Wedding Experience
Highlight Films
The highlight film is edited to tell the story of your wedding day in a cinematic style, set to music and audio captured throughout the day from your vows and toasts.
Rehearsal Dinner Coverage
Rehearsal dinners are often when many of the special toasts are planned to be given. If you opt for rehearsal dinner coverage, I'll capture the evening and include snippets of the toasts in your highlight film. The full toasts will also be delivered.
Pre-Wedding Meeting
Getting the opportunity to chat about a month prior to your wedding is helpful for us to get acquainted with one another and to review the timeline and details together.
Delivery
Your wedding film will be delivered via a beautiful online streaming service where the final .mp4 files may be downloaded for safekeeping.
Drone Footage
A drone is one of the cameras/tools I use to capture the beautiful setting you've chosen for your wedding day. The drone may not be flown if there are unfavorable weather conditions or flight restrictions in the area of the venue.
Reserving your date
To reserve your date, a 1/3 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your wedding date.
FAQ
Will we receive all/RAW footage?
I do not offer RAW footage. My Collection deliverables include a cinematic highlight film. This means I will film cinematic/creative footage throughout the duration of my coverage time, which I use to craft a story-driven film set to music and audio snippets of your ceremony, toasts and ambient audio captured throughout the day. It's important to me that my style aligns with your vision for your wedding film, so I strongly encourage viewing the videos in my portfolio to ensure we are a good stylistic fit. My Collections also include full footage of your ceremony, reception toasts (and rehearsal dinner toasts if applicable), cake cutting and special dances which you will receive as "Bonus Content" upon delivery of your highlight film.
Can we select the music for our film?
For copyright reasons I cannot legally use popular music in wedding films. I purchase the rights to royalty free music for use in wedding films from a great library of cinematic, romantic, and fun songs and use my creative discretion as a witness to your wedding day to select music that fits the tone and style of your wedding day as well as your personalities.
When can we expect to receive our film?
Because I craft a story-driven film interweaving audio and music, deliver full ceremony, speeches, cake cutting and special dances (and handle all editing myself), turnaround can take up to 5 months during/after the busiest wedding months.
